Black Mirror | Day 3

The third day of this project was way better than yesterday. I had good light, my camera battery didn't run out and I got better shots. I also met a security guard for an abandoned hotel (I don't get it either) and got him a soda so I could take pictures inside of the building. So far, I'd say that today's pictures are the best of the three days. Here they are:

Black Mirror | Day 2

Today was the second day of the black mirror project and it didn't go as well as it could have. I started out the day bad, getting up at like 2, and then waiting until 4 to take pictures. About 30 minutes into taking pictures, the battery died, so I walked home and charged it. I went out again at like 5:30, but by then it was way too dim outside to get good pictures. The final 5 photos from today are still good, just not as good as they could have been. Well, here they are:

Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I'll try to go out earlier when the light is still good. It's still really awkward operating a camera and angling the mirror just right, but I'm getting better at it.

Black Mirror | Day 1

Today was the first day of my second photo project: Black Mirror. In this project I'm going to take photos with a mirror in the frame. I'll post five pictures every day for one week.

Today was one of my funnest days taking pictures. Sure I looked weird as hell holding a mirror in front of me and it was hard at first getting the angle right, but the possibilities are huge adding the mirror element to the photo. Looking forward to an interesting project.

7 Colors/7 Days | Day 7: Violet

So, today was the last day of the photo project. It was violet day today, but most of the pictures are more on the magenta side. I think that today's pictures turned out nice. Definitely satisfied with them. Also, today I walked the farthest of any day this week. So here are the photos to finish this project.

I think I'm going to take a break from shooting tomorrow. This week I took over 1600 shots for this project. Lots of walking, too. So tomorrow=break, then on Monday, I think I'll start a new project.

7 Colors/7 Days | Day 6: Indigo

Indigo day was just kind of... meh. I got a decent amount of shots, but when I uploaded them I only liked a handful of them. I picked the final 7, not completely satisfied with some of the pictures. It was definitely a day to learn from though. I wouldn't call it a bad day, just kind of unsatisfying.

Also been having upload issues today, just making everything a pain in the ass. Last day tomorrow: Violet. Finding violet colored stuff around Panama City should definitely be a challenge.

7 Colors/7 Days | Day 5: Blue

Today has been more busy than usual. Between taking, editing, and posting photos, doing homework, and working on logos/websites, it has been hard to find time to relax. This photo project does consume a decent amount of time, but I'm loving my results. Only two days left of 7 Colors/7 Days! Indigo tomorrow, and Purple on Saturday. 7 Colors/7 Days | Day 4: Green

230+ shots of green today. It went really good, green is one of the most present colors in Panama City. I wandered around the city for about an hour and got some lucky shots. Check it out.

7 Colors/7 DAys | Day 3: Yellow

So, today was yellow day. It started out with an extremely disappointing moment. As I turned the corner walking home from school, I looked up to see the tree with the amazing yellow flowers, and it was all branches. There were hundreds of brown, wrinkled flowers on the ground. The rest of the day was good though, getting purposely lost and finding a quiet, rich neighborhood in the city. All's well that ends well. So here are the 7 yellow pics for Tuesday.

Today had the most pictures so far: 282. I figured that's about a 2.5% keep rate (7 pictures out of 282.) Feedback would be great.
